Local Marketing Group has run marketing for local businesses for ten years. Websites, Google and Facebook ads, SEO, social. The same jobs, done properly, year after year.
Ten years of doing the work.
We started in 2016 as a hands-on agency. Since then we've built and managed websites, run ad accounts, and done the unglamorous weekly work of getting local businesses found and chosen.
That decade taught us exactly what works and exactly what doesn't. It also taught us what the old agency model gets wrong: most of what a client pays for goes into hours, and there are never enough hours to go around.
So in 2026 we rebuilt the whole thing. We put ten years of judgment into our own AI agents, and they now do the labour: watching the ads, fixing the pages, writing the posts, following up the enquiries. Our Brisbane team checks everything before it goes out with your name on it.
The person behind it.
Angus Smith started Local Marketing Group in 2016 and still runs it. No account managers, no hand-offs, no call centre.
